valuation study on every financing or M&A deal which they are involved
with. Moreover, the partners of SMC have long experience valuing
companies as investors.
Valuations of a
business are increasingly done for public companies engaged in a
non-arms length transaction, for the calculation of goodwill on
a company's financial statements or to assist private company
shareholders in understanding their financial options when they
are considering a major transaction.
When compared to
the major accounting firms, SMC is able to
conduct these valuations at relatively low cost due to their low
overheads, and will be very competitive in any bid for valuation
work.
