Wm. Hugh Notman, Partner

|
Hugh Notman’s background includes sixteen years in the securities brokerage
industry, primarily involved with public venture capital and laterally
providing institutional sales coverage for
Western Canada for a national underwriter of emerging growth companies.
Prior to joining Stirling Mercantile Corporation Hugh was a Vice President
of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Corporate Finance and Investment Banking
group.
Hugh is a director of
Gateway File Systems Inc. and SMC Ventures Inc. as well as a director and
the past President of the Vancouver chapter of the
Association for
Corporate Growth.

Peter Scott worked for the Toronto-Dominion Bank for over 17 years. He was a corporate
lending officer in Toronto, New York, San Francisco and Vancouver and was
the president of TD Capital Group, TD’s venture capital division for 5
years.
In
1994 Peter left the bank to work for a client, and in this capacity he
assisted in the purchase of a forestry products company and two real estate
transactions. Following this engagement Peter joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as Senior VP of Corporate Finance in Vancouver and was involved in
several bank and equity capital raisings. Peter has been involved in over 40 private placements and M&A
transactions

David G. Shore, Partner

David’s background
combines the establishment of IT-related companies with consulting for early
stage financing and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In the early 80s
David’s company establish leading verticals in CAD software and custom
Unix-based accounting solutions. In the mid 90s David franchised a financial
services concept across Canada. David’s M&A activity, most recently
with CIBC Investment Banking in Vancouver, included non-asset backed debt
and equity financings and M&A intermediary services to mid-market
firms.
David is on the board, investment
committee and audit committee of the
BC Advantage Funds (VCC) Ltd., is chairman of
Celeres Systems, a director of
MetroBridge Networks and Compatriot
Ventures, has been a mentor
for
Telus New Ventures BC since it’s inception in 2001 and sits on the
advisory board of several local early-stage companies.

George Dorin,
Senior Vice President

George Dorin has 30
years of broad-based financial experience, including 15 years as a VP
Finance or CFO for several private and public companies. George holds
undergraduate degrees in Science and Accounting from the University of BC, a
Masters Degree in Finance from the London School of Economics in England,
and the Diploma FCSI, Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. A
Chartered Accountant, he was also recently granted a CF (Corporate Finance)
specialist designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
As a CFO, George had
been involved in a number of corporate finance transactions, assisting
companies with new private placements of debt and equity, with debt
refinancing, with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and helping
companies to go public. He has also assisted companies with strategic and
business planning, financial and regulatory reporting, investor relations
and corporate development. Prior to his work in industry, George worked in
the financial services sector as a Senior Accountant with Ernst & Whinney
(now part of KPMG), as a Manager in the Corporate Finance Group at Price
Waterhouse, as an Assistant Manager at the Royal Bank of Canada, and as an
Investment Advisor with Pemberton Securities (now part of RBC Dominion
Securities). Most recently he has been providing corporate finance services
to clients at Wolrige Mahon, LLP a BC-based CA Firm, as a Senior Vice
President in their Corporate Finance Group.

Ross L. McDonald, Senior Vice President

Ross joined Stirling
Mercantile Corporation in 2007. Ross has 16 years experience, primarily in
corporate and investment banking. Ross was recently Senior Vice President,
Corporate Strategy, for Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank in London,
England; worked for Salomon
Brothers Inc. and Ernst & Young LLP; and co-founded HomeProud, a real estate
refurbishment firm.
Ross obtained his MBA
from London Business School, England, is a member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of Scotland and obtained his B.Acc. from Glasgow
University, Scotland. Ross writes for multiple publications, including the
Cleantech Investor magazine and ACG’s Mergers & Acquisitions Journal, and is
a guest speaker in multiple business schools.

Mike Hou, Associate

Mike joined Stirling
Mercantile Corporation in 2007. Previously Mike worked with Sunbelt Business
Brokers Pacific Inc. as financial analyst.
Mike obtained his
Bachelor of Business Administration from Trinity Western University with
distinction, and is
studying for the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
